Traditionalist Modernism.

There’s nothing inherently vicious about something being new, just as there is nothing inherently virtuous about something being old. However, newness must be treated with much more suspicion. This table, at first glance, appears more “Modern” (note the smug capital M), but if you look closely, you will see that every aspect of the table’s design remains timeless. It is a maximalist table for one who knows what beauty is and yet also lives in the here and now.
